General procedure for competition entries:
Competition entries are presented in two parts:
- The entry itself, comprising:
- A title page, showing the title, your pseudonym (one-word), and the number of words.
- The work, which should be:
- typed or printed (not handwritten) double-space, on one side of the paper only.
- Paragraphs should be indented.
- Each page should carry a footer showing the title of the entry, your pseudonym, and a page number.
- Pages should be loose or paperclipped, not stapled.
- The “blind”
- Write your pseudonym and real name on a sheet of paper
- Seal it inside an envelope bearing
- the title
- your pseudonym
New: Put the two parts into an envelope or a polybag to keep them together. Make sure that the name of the competition, the title, and your pseudonym are all clearly visible on the outside, either by writing the details on the envelope, or by showing your title page through the polybag.
Members may make up to two entries in any competition, unless the rules specify otherwise.
